One last look at the Stella Papers

Good morning~
April has come and gone and so as we move into May, but I thought it would be fun to look at one more card created from the Stella papers and the "Just For You" stamp set. This charming little card was made by Wendy Coffman. She did a nice job of incorporating our new Bakers Twine. In this particular card, the focal point colors are Lagoon, Sunset and Tulip and they go very well together. Prior to the Stella kit, I would not have put these colors together, but now I really  love them... so cheery. So as we bid adieu to April, we also bid adieu to Stella. Next month we will play with the new Florentine kit ... but that's a post for May! Hee hee! With a smile~ Tina

Good Morning,

Today I am sharing the 3rd and finally layout I created for my Stella 6-page scrapbooking kits. This layout was inspired by a fellow CTMH consultant named Vicki Wizniuk and I tweaked it a bit here and there, adding "Tina-touches" to it. Or as my scrap group says, I "tina-fied" it, lol!

Again, I used the Stella Canvas Complements and the Mocha Opaque Adhesive Gems, along with some border stamping in Cocoa. The thing I love about this particular layout is how simple, quick and yet pretty it is. It holds four 4x6 photos- bam, bam, bam... layout completed. Okay, maybe not that quick... but close. :)  With a smile, Tina

Wendy's take on the Stella paper and stamps

Good Morning,
Today's card was created by my friend Wendy Coffman over at Stampin' Rules. She is one talented crafter and fellow CTMH consultant and I enjoy sharing ideas with her.  We swap several cards with the release of each new idea book and this is one of her cute Stella cards. I really like how she used the staples to add a whimsical accent to the card. Those 2 little staples help draw your eye right to the sentiment. The stamps used on this card are from the "Just For You"stamp set. If you are in my LADIES NIGHT OUT CLASS then you will be receiving this stamp set with your kit! Happy Stamping ladies! ~ Tina

This Wednesday, March 7th, my "Cherish Your Memories" group will meet to scrap and laugh the night away. The layout design we are featuring this month is called "Safe & Secure" and can be found on page 78 of the Imagine book. I created the layout using the Stella papers which feature the colors Cocoa, Sunset, Tulip, Lagoon and Olive. I accented the layout with the Stella canvas My Complements and the Mocha Adhesive Gems.  Enjoy! ~ Tina

Stella paper and the "Just For You" stamp set

Good Morning,
Just a quick note to share another card from the Stella paper pack. This is a 5x7 card and it shows you a very simple, yet pretty card that can use up all of those little scrap pieces of paper you may have lying around. I also used the new "Color Ready Seam Binding ribbon" that I daubed with Sunset and Tulip ink to create my own custom ribbon. It goes perfectly with this kit. If you have any questions, please feel free to leave a comment! With a smile- Tina

Stella is stunning!

Good Morning,

During the month of April, all of my classes will be featuring the new Stella papers and stamps and I have to say- they are stunning. When the Idea Book was first released, they were not my favorite, but after playing with them, I am in love! The colors are so bright and vibrant and cheery and... well, let me just show you.
For this card, I cut the largest piece of cardstock using the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge, and then stamped on it using our white daisy ink. So simple, and yet a very nice result. I think it looks like B&TP rather than stamped cardstock. I also did the rolling technique on the petals of the flower using Lagoon and Olive ink.

 Enjoy! Tina
