Fun with your Cricut Video Tutorial

Good Morning,

Today I wanted to share an inspiring video showing some of the things you can create with your Cricut Art Philosophy and Artiste cartridges. The artwork shown in this video is detailed and looks difficult, but watch and see how the CTMH Cartridges make it simple. At the end of the video, you will see how fast it is to put our fancy bow together using the piercing tool... a neat trick for sure!

Final Chantilly Layout

Good  Morning,

Here is the 3rd layout in my 6 page Chantilly Scrapbooking kits. This time I chose to focus on the Twilight  and Ruby colors in the background and texture papers just for something a little different. It's so easy to see these made with pastel colors and I wanted to change it up a bit. I also wanted to create a layout that could hold a lot of photos because I plan on using this for my Easter pictures and we take a LOT of those. This layout can easily hold ten 3x3 photos. Enjoy! Chantilly Layout #2

Good Morning,

I have another layout to share with you all this morning that I created with the products from our Chantilly line. Again, I  highlighted the Outdoor Denim Blue on my pages but you could always  make the pages even more feminine by pulling out the Cotton Candy or Sunset shades in the paper. Once I had the entire layout put together, I added our Stardust Glitz Gel to the surfaces of the chipboard accents for even more sparkle. This product dries well and the glitter does not flake off in your album.
Enjoy and if you have any questions, feel free to contact me or leave me a comment.

Chantilly Layouts

Good Morning,

I wanted to write a quick post before I head out of town on a Scrapbooking weekend with the girls. This is a layout I created using the Chantilly papers and Dimensional Elements. Think Easter and spring!! Because I am a boy Momma, I incorporated the Outdoor Denim and Pear as the focal point colors. Have a great weekend everyone!  With a smile~ Tina

A Happy Birthday card from the Chantilly Card WOTG Kit

Good Morning,

As I told you yesterday, I also made a birthday card using the Chantilly papers and I think you could give it to anyone really. I cut the sentiment background using the Cricut Art Philosophy cartridge and then stamped it with the stamp set that comes in the Chantilly Card Kit. The focal point colors are twilight, buttercup and pear, which go perfectly with the new Blue & Green Epoxy bubbles.  For a little added shine I dabbed on some of the Stardust Glitter Glitz Gel onto the outer edge of the buttercup cardstock, to the icing on the cake image and to the ends of each of the banner edges. Enjoy!

Chantilly Love.... such a fun new paper pack

Good Morning!!

February has come and is going by so quickly and I haven't been on my blog nearly enough.... basketball season can do that to a Momma of 4 boys! I love stamping and scrapping but I do love spending time on the kiddos too. But now that I have a breather I was determined to get online and share some artwork with you guys.

I have been playing with all the new product the Close To My Heart just released, and I started with the Chantilly papers and stamps. I really enjoyed the bright and fresh colors that CTMH coordinated in this kit. I made an extremely girlie card as well as a fun birthday card that could go for either a boy or girl. The reason is the wide range of colors found in the papers:
  • buttercup
  • cotton candy
  • pear
  • ruby
  • sunset
  • twilight
  • champagne

For this card, I used the rich Ruby papers and ink, coordinated with some pink waxy flax and a button from the Pink Assortment back.

But then I decided to pull in the bright pink of the cotton candy and the new Pink Glitter Gems. I think the card has an entirely different feel just because of the color difference.

And here is a close up the focal point accent...it is simply a flower cut from the B&TP and then glittered with the Stardust Glitz Gel. Easy Peasy! I will post the Happy Birthday card tomorrow. As always, feel free to contact me with any questions.
