August Stamp of the Month Blog Hop

Hey Everyone~

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!  There are so many fun things you can create with the August stamp of the month, "What A Hoot". It is so cute and perfect for doing paper piecing... I will show you below.  If you have come here from Donna Digby's Blog, you are on the right path!

As I mentioned, I had so much fun paper piecing with this stamp set. Being a line design set, you could easily color the owl in, or you could paper piece with different patterns of B&TP. I did this with the Owl and the Pumkin... see what I mean.

And... because we have a BRAND NEW Idea Book full of tons of new products, I have listed out what I used and included a link to the actual product so you could see them all. That is the fun part of having a new idea book right?!?!  So here is what I used:

In this picture I wanted to give you a close up view of the paper piecing and the pop that the thin 3-D Foam Tape gives. To add a bit of pizazz to the card, I finished it off with some outlining using the journaling pen. Easy Peasy!

Now "Hop" on over to Terry Ann Diak's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the Consultants at their Blogs to get some great crafting ideas and other fun ideas! Remember, the August SOTM is only available until August 31st!

How about some girly girl cards with the Chantilly Picture My Life Kit...

So I've shared a few cards created with the boy themed "Later Sk8r" Picture My Life kit, now how about taking the exact same card designs but applying them to a different kit. This time I was playing with the cards from the Chantilly PML kit. Here is a sample I made that is identical to one of the Later Sk8r cards.

Both of these cards used one 3"x4" cards along with the coordinating papers, and a few embellishments.
For the Later Sk8r card, I simply added the sentiment to the top of the card. Easy change.

If you come up with one design style you like, keep going with it. Why re-invent the wheel, right? Tomorrow I will show you more. With a smile~ Tina

More Cards using the Pocket Style Scrapbooking Program - Picture My Life

Good Morning,

Here are 3 more fast and fun cards made from the Later Sk8r Picture My Life kit.
For this card, I cut the banner using the Cricut Artiste cartridge and stamped the sentiment in Ruby ink using the Banner Wishes stamp set.

A couple of triangle durable studs was all this 5 minute card needed... ready for a boys birthday or any other fitting occasion!

I used the Banner Wishes stamp set again with this card to stamp the sentiment, accented with some Ruby Chevron Washi Tape and finished with a couple of triangle durable studs. These come with 48 in each pack so you have plenty for lots of cards!
Easy Peasy!

For more information about my upcoming workshop kit, contact me directly. I will be happy to sign you up or send you a kit in the mail!

Picture My Life.... It's Not Just For Scrapbooking

Good Morning,

Recently I was asked to create some cards that were more masculine in style and so I decided to pull out my "Later Sk8r" Picture My Life scrapbooking products and see what I could come up with. The result... super quick, super easy and super fun cards. See for yourself:
I accented this one with some Washi Tape and Sparkles

All this card needed was a bit of Silver Shimmer Trim and some Triangle Durable Studs.

I am definitely hooked on these cards and plan to offer a workshop very soon, so that you all can become hooked on them too! Hee Hee hee!!
