November Stamp of the Month Blog Hop: It's The Little Things

Welcome to our Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

This month we will be showing you tons of fun papercrafting ideas using the November Stamp of the Month, "It's The Little Things." This set is very fun to create with and I think you will enjoy it.

If you have come here from Regina Kettering's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle of about 65 consultants. You can start here and work your way all around.

For this month stamp of the month, I decided to grab the new Brushed paper pack. I have not yet played with it and thought it would look pretty with these whimsical flowers.

I only used one pattern of the B&TP and then highlighted the Juniper color within it by adding Juniper Cardstock. I also decided it was time to play with our new Chevron Border Punch. I love how the pink glitter paper can peek through the Juniper Cardstock.

Here is a close up of the flowers. I used just two colors for them: Pixie and Hollyhock and then layered them  up a bit. Easy Peasy.

And if you aren't familiar with the new Brushed paper pack, here is a picture of all 6 patterns that come in the pack. Aren't they pretty.

Now hop on over to April Nourse's blog to see what she has created with this fun set.
With a smile,
Tina

Clips and Grips and Clamps oh my! Time to give Deflecto a Try

Hi Everyone,

Today I am sharing a few ways Deflecto products have made my life a little easier. As many of you know, I display a lot of cards in my workshop studio and sometimes I need more displays. Recently I received a box of goodies and one of the items were these magnetic clips. I LOVE them. Not only are they thin and inconspicuous, but the magnet on the base is super strong, and every part of the clip swivels. Let me show you.

In the picture, you can also see that there are 2 types of bases used. One is a long rod with a magnet on the bottom while the other is a double clip. I've swiveled them a bit to show you how much leeway you have with them.

You probably also noticed my little sign in the middle. That is a Chalkboard sign that I wrote on. Here is another way I have used it in my classes.

The package came with 10 signs and a Chalk Marker to write on them with. Oh, and the cool thing... you just wash it off with water when you want to change the sign! Pretty Cool huh!

Do You Have the October Stamp of the Month yet?

Good Morning,

Just a quick post to share some more artwork created with the October Stamp of the Month: Home For The Holidays. Every single image on this set is super cute and most are cut out with the Art Philosophy Cricut cartridge which makes creating a snap!

Check out this simple card created with the Snowhaven Papers. First, the postage stamp shape was cut on the cricut and then stamped with black ink, The polar bear was stamped again, this time in cranberry on a scrap piece of paper to cut out just the scarf. Cute right. A little bling here and there and you've got an easy peasy card.

If you don't get have your own set, you can get it for only $5 with any $50 order. That will also qualify you to automatically receive a FREE roll of Chevron Ribbon. Let me show you how to qualify for the Free Chevron Ribbon.

Shin Han Touch Twin Alcohol Marker Blog Hop

Welcome to our Shin Han Touch Twin Markers Blog Hop!
We will be featuring Close To My Heart's brand new alcohol markers: the Shin Han Twin Touch Markers and Colorless Blender.

If you have come here from Peachy Lamb's blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.

This month we have 44 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using these markers and other great CTMH products on their blogs. Be sure to hop through and get some great ideas.

I have been having a lot of fun with these markers. They blend beautifully. For this card, I only used 2 colors: Marigold and Golden Yellow along with the Colorless Blender. I first stamped the White Daisy cardstock with the Archival Black ink and let it dry a bit. If you are impatient, you can blast it with some heat from your craft heater.

The stamp set I used is B1432 ~ Love This. It's perfect for practicing all kinds of coloring, shading and blending.

Here is a close up of the flowers.

Also, so you know, the markers come with both a chisel and a fine tip for different coloring options. They also have a rectangular shape that feels very comfortable in your hand AND keeps them from rolling off the table... kind of an important little detail. And, because they are a nice, alcohol based marker, they blend seamlessly. These definitely make coloring fun.If you aren't familiar with the Touch Twin markers, here is another look:

Now hop on over to Wendy Kessler's blog to see her super fun and creative artwork.
And be sure to check back tomorrow for more creations I've come up with using these markers.

With a smile,
Tina

Simply Inspired Artfully Sent Blog Hop

Welcome to our Simply Inspired CTMH Blog Hop! This month we are highlighting the brand new Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge. If you have come here from Margi's Blog, you are on the right path!

The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.
Its super simple to hop along with us - just click on the link at the end of each blog post to move to the next one! Here we go!

For this blog hop, I decided to create "Sentiment" card from the Artfully Sent cartridge. There are 5 basic card styles: Sentiment, Pop-Up, Scene Sleeve and Pocket cards. Let me show you what this style of card looks like:

I am in love with the Sentiment card style because of how easy it is to attach different patterns of paper to the inside front of the card to create a really fun effect. For this card, I chose to use the new Confetti Wishes papers along with the Purple Glitter paper

To add a little pop to the card, I used my 1/4" hole punch along with the glitter paper and created sprinkles for the cupcake. I finished it off by adding some doodling lines around the outline of it.

As you can see from the picture of our glitter paper, you get three shades in each pack. For this card, I used the darkest shade to create the biggest contrast on the card. I think it looks great with the Thistle cardstock.

Now "Hop" on over to Bren's Blog to see her work! Be sure to visit all the
Consultants in the Hop to get some great crafting ideas! Thanks for stopping by!

Home For the Holiday's - October Stamp of the Month

Good Morning,

As promised yesterday, I have some more cards created using the Snowhaven papers along with the October stamp of the month, Home For the Holidays. This card was inspired by a fellow consultant, Karen Varcoe, and again takes advantage of the fact that each of these images was cut out using the Art Philosophy Cricut Cartridge.

Remember, this stamp set is only available in the month of October so if you like it, get it before it's gone. Enjoy!

With a smile,
Tina
