A Happy Hello February SOTM Blog Hop

Welcome to the February Stamp of the Month Blog Hop!

This month we will be featuring the SOTM, called "A Happy Hello" throughout the hop.

If you have come here from Katie Hessel's Blog, you are on the right path! The blog hop is a great big circle, so you can start here and work your way all around.  This month we have 68 Close To My Heart Consultants sharing their creations using this Cricut cartridge and other great CTMH products on their blogs. Be sure to hop through and get some great ideas.

I am currently in love with the Hopscotch papers. They are so soft and pretty that I can't seem to stop creating with them... I have more projects to show you. For today, here it is paired with the February SOTM, "A Happy Hello."

The main focal point color is Pixie, which is one of our newest colors. I paired it with Smoothie and Flaxen (another new color) and then added highlights with the pink Glitter Papers. Gold sequins and the Pixie Twine added the final touches I was looking for.

Here is a picture of all the different papers that come in the Hopscotch Paper Pack. You can see from the card above, you can change the look and feel of this paper dramatically by what focal point color you choose to pair it with... that makes it a very versatile pack!

Now hop on over to Wendy Kessler's Blog to see what fun creations she has come up with! I know you won't be disappointed.

Tina

CTMH's Newest Organizational Tool... the Rolling Tote

Good Morning Everyone,

As many of you know, Close To My Heart has come out with an all new organizational Rolling Tote and it is pretty nice. I've shared pictures of all types, and explained how much it can hold, but today I thought it would be great for you to actually see it in action.

This video will show you all the in's and out's of the tote so that you can see just how helpful it is for organizing your stuff. I personally think you will also enjoy seeing how it arrives to you and how you can store it flat, if you need too.... yep, thats what I said.. it can be stored flat.

Oh, and one more fun tid bit... you can order it from my CTMH Website and shipping is only $4.95! Woo-Hoo! Now that makes me super happy too... oh, and you would automatically qualify for the Stamp of the Month for only $5, as well as the Year Noted Kit.

So sit back and watch the video... you will enjoy it.

If you would like to look at them more closely, or order your own, you can do so here. These have sold out very quickly both times we have gotten inventory in, so if it's on your wish list, get it fast. :)

Tina

Create Your Own Home Decor with the CTMH Display Tray and Picture My Life Cards

Good Morning,

Today I wanted to inspire you with some more artwork featuring the Heartstrings paper series.
For this project, I used our large display tray and Heartstring Picture My Life cards to create a one of a kind gift for someone special.

The entire project took about 40 minutes to create from beginning to end. This included choosing and cropping down the photos, selecting which of the Picture My Life cards conveyed the right message and adding a little bit of pizzazz. I really like how it turned out (even though you guys can't see the little cuties featured in the photos).

To embellish the gift, I simply added a cricut cut flower to the PML card at the top of the tray, with a sparkle in the middle and some glitter around it.

For the middle row, I cut the phrase right out of one of the 3x4 cards and adhered it to the outside frame of the display tray with Glue Dots and jazzed it up with White Shimmer Trim.

And for the bottom row of the tray, I chose a card that had a simple heart image. I then cut the phrase "Love You" out using the Cricut Artbooking Cartridge and popped it up off the heart using 3-D foam tape. The final embellishment was a little heart from the new Stuck On You Puffies.

I hope you feel inspired to give creating a home decor item like this a try. Its fun, simple, quick and beautiful.
With a smile,
Tina

A Cute Valentines Day Card using Heartstring and the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge

Good Morning Everyone,

Today's post is also focused on the new Heartstrings Paper pack, but this time I wanted to share a card. I created this 5"x7" card using the Artfully Sent Cricut Cartridge along with the  Heartstring Workshop on the Go Kit.

I used the "Scene" style of card found on page 36 of the handbook, under the letter "N."

The booklet suggested cutting the card at 7" but since I wanted to do a few layers, I cut it at 6.75" instead.

The hearts were cut from Ruby and Lagoon cardstock, and then sponged for emphasis and finally popped off the page with our 3-D Foam tape.

To complete the front of the card, I added some of our Silver Sequins, and the White Shimmer Trim and  Stuck On You Puffies from Seasonal Expressions 1.

To finish the entire card, I decided to stamp on the inside of the card with the stamps that came in the Workshop on the Go Kit.

The Artfully Sent Cricut cartridge made this card come together so fast. All I had to do was a little layering, and little sponging, a little addition of bling and tah-dah.... a card for my sweet... and over a month early for Valentines Day.... he may end up getting it before then.

I've included photos of each of the items I used.
Enjoy! With a smile,
Tina

Here is the 3rd and final layout in my 6-page Heartstring Scrapbooking kit. I love this particular layout because it has room for SIX, 4x6 layouts. How is that for easy peasy. I also love how pretty the Glacier Blue cardstock is with these papers. A fun twist on traditional Valentines Day colors.

Happy Scrapbooking everyone!
