Halloween Fun and Pumpkin Patch Memories

A trip down memory lane and a tradition I have done EVERY year since Jonah, my almost 18 year old was born: I take the same Halloween picture, at the same pumpkin patch every year... we've added a few brothers into the mix over the years, hee hee. I LOVE seeing how they've grown every year in relation to this pumpkin cutout. We still have to get to the pumpkin patch this year... hoping for Saturday and then to scrap the pictures... already have my layouts created

These are the layouts I created for this years Halloween and Pumpkin patch photos. I really like being ready ahead of time. I can think about the orientation in which I will take my photos, and, once printed, I can lay them with the layouts until I am ready to scrap.

Confession... I scrap a LOT in the car on long drives. I have layouts and photos matched up and in 12x12 holders and when we leave on a longer drive, I grab my lapboard, adhesive, a trimmer and the bag and add the photos. The floor of the car on my side is pretty messy when we get there, but... my photos are on my pages and ready for my albums.

I do sell pre-cut kits for any of you who might like to give it a try, as well as cutting guides to create your own. Hop on over to my blog and check out all the kits I have created over the years.

And lastly, I have a Mystery Hostess Drawing open right now. Every order on my website gets their name entered for a chance to win. Last month the winner received $60 in FREE product PLUS a Half-Price item of their choice and there were only 5 names to be draw from... those are some GREAT ODDS for winning the loot. More Halloween Gift Bags using the Designer Creations Paper Bags

Hi Everyone,

Today I wanted to do a quick post on a fun idea for giving out Halloween goodies to friends, neighbors, co-workers, loved ones... or anyone you feel like it really. This treat bag was created by my friend Nancy Reding. She used the same items as I did on mine: the Designer Creation Paper Bags  in Slate (12 bags in 3 designs), the Nevermore Paper pack and the Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge and the new Cricut Artistry Cartridge

To bump things up a  notch she cut the bat image out of our Black Glitter paper and then also used it on the clothespin to hold the treat bag closed. Lastly she stamped a tag using the Tasty Terrors stamp set and then accented it with our Black enamel stars.

Halloween Treat Holders - Designer Creations Paper Bags

Hi Everyone,

Today I wanted to do a quick post on a fun idea for giving out Halloween goodies to friends, neighbors, co-workers, loved ones... or anyone you feel like it really. I used our Designer Creation Paper Bags (12 bags in 3 designs), the Nevermore Paper pack and the new Cricut Artistry Cartridge to create this bag in 5 minutes.
How fun is this! I had a great time creating it, but I also know the recipient will also enjoy getting it. Crafting is about having fun and this speaks to that.

Nevermore 6 Page Scrapbook Layout Kit

 Hi Everyone,

Welcome to October... such a beautiful time of year with the changing colors around us, AND the start of a very fun and busy holiday season. To kick it off I will be sharing artwork to inspire you for the first holiday coming up... Halloween!

To get started, I created a 6 page scrapbook kit with the new Nevermore papers and Complements from Close To My Heart. The color scheme I used was Black, Slate, Sunset, Eggplant and Canary. I also used the Cricut Artfully Sent cartridge to create the two pocket card accents (Layout 2 and 3).

I create these kits for all of my various customers. Those that live here locally to me come and create them once a month to keep current on their scrapbooking. For those who are not local, I pre-cut and pre-stamp these kits and mail them out. You can read about my 6 Page Scrapbook kits program on my scrapbooking blog.
And here are the products I used to create my 6 page kits. All of these are available on my website or come in the pre-cut kits. The complements are now in a new format, featuring two 6x6 Sticker Sheets,a pack of Transparency icons and a pack of Kraft complements.
